4 Wheelz began in 1994 as a father-daughter team with nine instructors. The school have since expanded to cover Birmingham and the Midlands, with over 100 ADIs (Approved Driving Instructors).
4 Wheelz provides good theory test resources for its learners. The school offers a free theory test pack to anyone who books an intensive course or block lessons. It includes a theory test DVD, accelerated learning leaflets, a progress report book, and a feedback form. In addition, they have a free theory test app available for download which includes over 200 questions.
4 Wheelz, alongside an array of packages, offers a driving lesson guarantee as well. The school promises that if you are not happy with your first lesson you will receive a second lesson free with a new 4 Wheelz instructor.

4 Wheelz covers a range of locations in and around Birmingham and the Midlands. These include: Bedworth, Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Cannock, Coventry, Cheltenham, Droitwich, Dudley, Gloucester, Halesowen, Leamington, Lichfield, Redditch, Sutton Coldfield, Stafford, Solihull, Stourbridge, Tamworth, Tewkesbury, Walsall, Warwick, and Wolverhampton.

4 Wheelz provides lessons in a range of vehicles, but prefers smaller cars in order to give learners a great sense of comfort, confidence and control. Popular instructor cars are Vauxhall Corsas, Ford Fiestas, Nissan Micras, and BMW minis. These are all available in either manual or automatic.
4 Wheelz driving instructors
4 Wheelz states that all its instructors are DVSA registered and DBS checked. The school’s registered instructors are regularly checked by the DVSA.
4 Wheelz has over 100 ADIs, as well as some PDIs (Potential Driver Instructors) who are still in training.
The school offers both male and female driving instructors.
For new learners, 4 Wheelz offers a 10-lesson pack for £99, which comprises of five double lessons, and a three-lesson pack for £45.
Individual lessons can also be booked - manual lessons at £24.50 and automatic lessons at £26.50.
4 Wheelz has several intensive driving courses. There is a 10-lesson course to be taken over one week (£361.50), a 20-lesson course to be taken over one to two weeks (£601.50), a 30-lesson course to be taken over two to four weeks (£841), or finally a 40-lesson course to be taken over two to four weeks (£1,081).
Before booking your course there is a two-hour assessment lesson after which an instructor will recommend which course to book.
Offers and promos
The school offers a trial lesson for £9.99, after which standard lesson fees apply. It also provides a £1 discount on standard lesson fees for students, the unemployed, NHS employees, and senior citizens, as well as extra discounts discussable over the phone when 10 or 20 lessons are booked in advance. 4 Wheelz also provides gift vouchers which begin at £20.
Cancellations and refunds
Should you wish to cancel or rearrange a lesson you must give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice or your refund will be forfeited.
Lessons must be regular with no gaps of more than four weeks between them.
As driving instructors working for 4 Wheelz are self-employed and act as franchisees, any contract made solely between learners and 4 Wheelz Driving School instructors won’t be protected by the driving school.
4 Wheelz’s guarantee means if you are unhappy with your first lesson in any way you can have a second lesson for free with a new instructor.
