Wimbledon Driving School driving instructors

The school’s senior instructor received a grade six in their ADI check test and is a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists. They passed their advanced driving test with a first (the highest possible grade) having also completed the Driving Instructors Association Diamond Special Test. They also have a RoSPA gold driving award.
The majority of Wimbledon Driving School's instructors are ADIs (Approved Driving Instructor) but there is still the small chance you could end up with a PDI (Potential Driving Instructor) who is still in training.
Wimbledon Driving School has two block booking packages which offer lessons at a discounted rate. There is a 12-hour pack which is £287.40 for manual and £299.40 for automatic, and a 20-hour pack which is £479.00 for manual and £499.00 for automatic. Both these work out as £1 cheaper per hour of lesson against the school’s normal fees (£24.95 an hour for manual, £25.95 for automatic). Motorway lessons are offered at £90 in a manual and £93 in an automatic for three hours.
Wimbledon Driving School offers an array of intensive driving courses which are subject to instructor availability. The Fast Track Intensive Course is designed for those who already have a driving licence - perhaps they are out of practice, or are new to the UK. It consists of 12 hours spread over four days and costs £287.50 in a manual, £299.40 in an automatic.
The Fast Pass intensive course is for those drivers who need a licence urgently. It is a 36-hour intensive course for which you will need to have passed your theory before beginning. It costs £862.20 in a manual and £898.20 in an automatic.
The last option is the Fast Forward intensive course which is 24 hours costing £576.80 in a manual and £598.80 in an automatic.
Before beginning on one of Wimbledon Driving School’s intensive courses you must complete a two-hour assessment lesson so that the school can decide which course is best for you. This lesson is priced at £49.90 for a manual and £51.90 for an automatic.
The school also offers a six-hour Pass Plus package for £180 in a manual, and £186 in an automatic.

The school offers a first basic lesson, manual or automatic, at £10. After taking this lesson a learner is free to buy lessons pay-as-you-go, or to purchase block bookings if they wish.
Cancellations and refunds
All instructors are franchisee instructors which means they are self-employed, and any contract made between them and a pupil is not protected by the driving school.
If you wish to cancel a lesson, a minimum of 48 hours’ prior notice must be given or else you will be charged in full for the lesson. All cancellations must be communicated between you and the instructor. Wimbledon Driving School cannot pass over cancellation information to its instructors.
Payment for lessons should be made in cash or cheque supported by a cheque guarantee card given directly to the instructor. Block bookings must be used within 6 months of purchase. Lessons not booked and used within this six month period cannot be refunded.
Each lesson you will need to obtain a receipt as the school cannot accept responsibility for any payments to the instructor.
